Known as hand-poked tattoos by Thai (สักมือ), this form of tattoo involves placing needles at the end of a long, slender pole that can be made out of bamboo, wood or metal. This ancient craft goes back to thousands of years ago, when monk performed Sak Yant tattoos for people to gain power, protection and luck. Today, the same technique can be used on creating beautiful modern tattoos.
